Summer 2022 days out.
A big thank you to Nature Heals Seed Fund.
Lucky chat clubbers have been blessed in Summer 2022 with amazing days out funded by Nature Heals Seeds Fund. Chat clubbers first walk was in May with a stomp around Stanpit Marsh. In June there was a teddy bear's picnic where we all learnt teddies have secrets too. Queen Elizabeth's platinum jubilee was celebrated under a Westbourne marquee, hosted by the Rotary Club (thank you). In July we walked from Coy Pond to Bournemouth. Walked over the top or rode around Hengistbury Head on the noddy train. Then in August we sheltered from 40 degrees and sailed up the River Stour alongside the marshlands of Christchurch up to Mudeford. We walked, chatted and picnicked at Highcliffe castle, then we sheltered from gale-force winds on Boscombe Prom in September and had a birthday cake too. Then in October we tried our hardest not to be blown away as we circled Poole Park pond. As always there is a lovely cuppa waiting for us. January 2023, the grey skies never stopped us from walking the prom at Weymouth.
Alongside loneliness, adversity builds strength.
